Cops for Cancer Fundraiser at Royal Oak Shopping Centre

On September 7, the Royal Oak Shopping Centre will host a community event to raise funds for the Cops for Cancer Tour de Rock.

We have planned an amazing event that will include many raffle prizes donated by the Royal Oak merchants, a sidewalk sale, a community BBQ and fun family fair games.

This is all going to go towards the Cops for Cancer Tour de Rock, a ride that seeks to raise money and awareness for pediatric cancer. The proceeds will help the Canadian Cancer Society to fund pediatric cancer research and to help children and their families through various programs.

We’re proud to sponsor Kevin Nunn and his team who will ride from Port Alice all the way down to Victoria to help support pediatric cancer research! As Kevin always says after a grueling training session, “it’s for the kids!”

Country Grocer/Cob’s Bread BBQ – all proceeds donated.
Tim Hortons will be serving Cold Stone Creamery ice cream treat by donation – all proceeds donated.
McDonalds will be donating $0.10 from every egg McMuffin, Big Mac and McCafe beverage for the whole day!
Canada’s Best Karate will be having demos and workshops out in the parking lot.
Some of the tenants will be running promos that day and some will be having a sidewalk sale.
There will be awesome raffle prizes from the merchants at the Centre.
There will be a bouncy castle, games and lots of fun.
We are hoping to have Marty the Marmot and Ace the dog (Saanich Police mascot) but we are still waiting for confirmation.

Stay tuned!
