Royal Oak Shopping Centre
Royal Oak is an outdoor shopping centre with a convenient combination of retail and office space. This pedestrian-friendly mall is anchored by Country Grocer, Bank of Montreal, and Shoppers Drug Mart and offers a diverse mix of everyday shops and services to suit a variety of needs, from clothing and essentials to groceries and restaurants.
Since purchasing the centre in 1986, Hansbraun Investments has made major upgrades, including renovation of the former Eaton’s Warehouse into what is now Country Grocer as well as upgrading the exterior facades on individual buildings. As we continue these upgrades, we have included full renovations on both the Viewmont and Oak View buildings at the north end of the centre. These attractive buildings are comprised of first floor retail and second floor office space.
Come visit the businesses in the breezeway area, a pedestrian-only section where you can sit and enjoy the great outdoors. Plenty of free customer parking close to 80+ businesses and a number of entrances and exits onto both Viewmont Avenue and West Saanich Road make Royal Oak a desirable centre for both the young and ‘young at heart’. On-site amenities include secure bicycle storage facilities for tenants, Electric Vehicle chargers and staff parking on site. Situated just off of Highway 17, Royal Oak has major Transit routes stopping at the edge of the centre and access to Highway 1 is only a 10-minute drive away!
